Proverbs
Fearfully Made
Sunday, June 24, 2012
The God of the Bible can be frightening. The Proverbs make it clear that a life lived in the fear of the Lord leads to a full, abundant life and that fear comes with a knowledge of God. As we explore God’s truth, we find good reason to fear, but we also find that fear is only the beginning and that further knowledge leads to great hope—the gift of a God who, while worthy of fear, has chosen to overcome the fear at great cost to himself.
